Scizzorface^

We are an emerging Design Studio called Scizzorface. We centre around a collaborative atmosphere between Jess Moore, Amy Selby and Delwyn Rutley who hit the wall of art school conformity and united around the concept of do-it-yourself-for-yourself. Scizzorface references a fascination with all things curious and ridiculous in everyday life. Inspired by animals, sexual innuendo, humour, hair, music and pop culture our studio takes on a multi-disciplinary approach where a drawing can be transformed into anything – fashion, print, illustration, animation, jewellery or whatever takes the our fancy. Scizzorface portray characters and scenarios which reference small but suggestive happenings and inside-jokes that provoke a range of reactions. We have a loose and quirky approach to the themes explored which sees experimentation in media, textures, juxtapositions and exploitation of found imagery.
