Hannah Erdos

There is a continuing love of pattern making in my practice. This pattern orientation has been inspired by a wide range of designs from clothing fashion and textiles, to building interiors and architecture in general. This passion has steadily grown during the last four years and I wish to continue developing these skills. The underlying context to my studio practice is the influence of historical design movements Abstract Expressionists to Bauhaus designers and the Art Nouveau style together with contemporary designers. By combining these formal principles and approaches to produce new visual aesthetics of pure and reduced compositions with hardedge abstracted elements, is my current adopted approach.
